Matterhorn by Court Innovations is the first start-up out of the University of Michigan Law School. We formed in 2014 and have grown our company and our impact on courts and the public over time.
In order to expand from our initial base in Michigan and Ohio, we brought on investors in the summer of 2017. Our Series A round was led by the BELLE Michigan Fund and other investors include:
- Northern Michigan Angels,
- Michigan Angel Fund,
- the student-led Social Venture Fund at the Samuel Zell & Robert H. Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies at the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business, and
- private investors.
Notably, funders also included those who invested through our 4(a)(6) offering via Netcapital. Through equity crowdfunding via NetCapital, we received funding from 48 states and the District of Columbia.
Here is our annual report for 2016.
