Court ODR Fact Sheet from the Pew Charitable Trusts

The Pew Charitable Trusts have released a fact sheet on court online dispute resolution (ODR). This sheet describes the potential benefits of court ODR for courts and the public.

ODR Fact Sheet

The fact sheet: online dispute resolution offers a new way to access local courts: how private-sector technologies can be repurposed to serve the civil legal system.

The fact sheet looks to the National Center for State Courts’ definition of court ODR as a

  • court-annexed,
  • public-facing, and
  • digital space for handling a case from start to finish.

The public expects real-time digital access, ODR provides this access.
