In the News: 19th District Court offers Online Warrant Resolution

The Press & Guide has helped to spread the word about a new option from the 19th District Court in Dearborn, Michigan. In order to create more access during this time of sheltering-in-place, the court now allows people with warrants to request review online.

The court launched online traffic ticket resolution, via Matterhorn, in the beginning of the year (see coverage of the Dearborn traffic review launch). In response to limitations on access due to the nationwide pandemic response, the court has added warrant resolution to its set of online options.

“We remain operational to handle essential matters and we recognize that we must adopt new methods to ensure that the court remains accessible to all citizens,”

“This is the time to implement our newest online service to help the court continue to make good use of technology whenever possible while providing better public access to the court.”

Chief Judge Gene Hunt, as quoted in the Dearborn Press & Guide

Congratulations to Chief Judge Hunt, Court Administrator Eric Cyman, and the entire team of the 19th District Court for offering online options to the public at this challenging time.
