Until recently, anyone who was part of a child support compliance hearing with the Superior Court of Arizona in Maricopa County had to appear in court to resolve their matter. That option remains. Now, people can now participate in child support compliance cases via ODR from anywhere.
Arizona ODR – Powered by Matterhorn
The Superior Court of Arizona in Maricopa County is the first court in Arizona and the third court nationally to use Matterhorn ODR for domestic relations cases. Maricopa County is the largest county by population in Arizona and the home of Phoenix, Tempe, and Scottsdale, among other cities.
“With this launch, the Superior Court of Arizona in Maricopa County extends its court online and streamlines their interactions with parents involved in domestic relations cases.”
“We love working with tech-savvy, service-oriented courts such as the Superior Courts in Arizona to expand convenience, access, and efficiencies for the court and the people of Arizona.”MJ Cartwright, Matterhorn CEO
Communicate from Anywhere, Anytime
The ODR platform, Matterhorn by Court Innovations, allows the court to engage parties in the case from anywhere on any device. When the court needs documentation from a party in the case, that party can upload receipts, certificates, and confirmation of payments digitally online.
Matterhorn expands public access to the court and results in increased efficiency for court staff that save the public and court time and money.
Congratulations to Deputy Court Administrator Shawn Friend, Family Department Deputy Administrator Michael Sims, and the entire staff of the Maricopa County Superior Court for their dedication to increase access and efficiency in their community.
