People in Oakland County now have the option to resolve disputes online via MI-Resolve, sponsored by the Michigan Supreme Court and powered by Matterhorn. MI-Resolve provides an option to work through disputes online with the support of mediators. As of late April 2020, MI-Resolve is now available in 18 counties in Michigan.
“Keeping the virtual doors of justice open to everyone in Michigan has never been more important. Confronting the COVID-19 crisis makes closing the justice gap all the more urgent. Opening up online dispute resolution to Oakland County residents represents a huge step toward achieving that goal.”Bridget M. McCormack, Michigan Supreme Court Chief Justice, quoted in the Michigan Courts News Release
