License to Drive: How legal structures impact mobility

Matterhorn founder J.J. Prescott will speak on March 15, 2018 at a University of Michigan Poverty Solutions Engagement Series Event. The event, “The Road Out of Poverty: A Transportation & Economic Mobility Symposium,” will be held at the Michigan League on Thursday March 15 from 1-5 PM.

Anthony Foxx, former U.S. Transportation Secretary, will deliver the keynote. The keynote will be followed by interactive sessions led by community experts and faculty.

J.J. Prescott will participate in “License to Drive: How Legal Structures Impact Mobility”. The session consists of Prescott, a professor at the University of Michigan Law School, Phil Telfeyan of Equal Justice Under Law, and Chad Livengood from Crains’ Detroit Business.

The event was free and open to the public.
