The Jefferson District Court in Kentucky now offers the online option for payment plans via Matterhorn.

The online platform offers participants the ability to ask for extra time to pay fines and fees with a payment plan with features that include sending notifications and reminders.
According to the story on the Kentucky.gov website, the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) Director Laurie K. Dudgeon said:
“We’re offering another level of convenience with these new options…People who can’t afford to pay their costs in one lump sum have to spend time and money to come to the Hall of Justice to get set up on a payment plan. We want to reduce this burden of coming to court by allowing people to handle the whole process online.”
This platform is now available in Jefferson District Court. Jefferson County is the most populous in the commonwealth of Kentucky, and it is the home of Louisville.
Congratulations to Director Dudgeon, the team at the AOC, and the team at Jefferson District Court for increasing access for the people of Kentucky and beyond.
